What is a supplier verification checklist?

A set of documents and checks you complete before ordering. It shows the company is a real legal entity, the factory exists and can make your product, and the quality, compliance and commercial terms are agreed in writing.

Which checks matter most?

The critical ones: business licence and registration cross-check, confirmed factory address, evidence the site is real such as photos or live video, confirmation of manufacturer versus trading company, product test reports, product compliance for your market, and a signed contract with agreed specifications.

Does ticking every box mean the supplier is safe?

No. This is a self-assessment built on what the supplier gives you, and documents can be forged. Only an independent verification or factory audit confirms the claims on the ground.
